Duvall, WA — The Cedarcrest High School DECA chapter is proud to announce the 4th Annual Valley Open Pickleball Tournament, taking place April 17–18 at Cedarcrest High School.

The Ji Group returns as the tournament’s title sponsor, continuing its support of student leadership and community-focused initiatives. The two-day event will feature a High School Division on Thursday, April 17, followed on Friday, April 18 by Open, Youth, and Senior divisions.

We welcome students, athletes, and community members alike for a weekend of spirited competition and connection.

The tournament aims to strengthen community awareness and bring the Duvall area closer together through the fast-growing sport of pickleball. By creating an event that unites students, families, and residents, Cedarcrest DECA hopes to foster school pride while building meaningful community relationships.

The tournament will be played in pairs, encouraging teamwork, communication, and friendly competition on the court. Participants in the High School Division will compete against fellow student teams, while the Open Division invites pairs of all ages and skill levels from the broader community. No prior pickleball experience is required — beginners are encouraged to sign up and join the fun. The event is designed to be welcoming and inclusive, making it a great opportunity for first-time players to learn the game while enjoying a supportive and energetic atmosphere. Registration fees for the event can be designated to your favorite school or PTSA.  This is a fun way to engage and support your favorite school and have fun cheering on each other.

Registration will open in early April. Additional details, divisions, and registration links will be shared on Cedarcrest DECA’s social media platforms. Community members are encouraged to stay updated by following the tournament on Instagram at Cedarcrest DECA (Insta), TikTok at Cedarcrest DECA (TT), and on Facebook at Cedarcrest DECA (FB) for important announcements, registration information, and behind-the-scenes content during, and leading up to the event.

The Cedarcrest DECA Pickleball Tournament reflects the organization’s commitment to leadership, teamwork, and community connection. Community members are invited to join Cedarcrest DECA April 17–18 for a weekend of competition, collaboration, and school pride.
